太陽が照りつけ風が強く乾燥する大地で進化した種、多肉植物。捕食のために移動することを選ばず、自らをその環境にあわせ進化させてきた姿は、人類から見ると力強く美しくうつる。
2009年に始動したTOKIIROは、生命を日本人に古くから宿る自然と共に歩むという観点で、器に景色を再構築し、季節の変化を観察しながら地球の時の流れを感じていけるような作品を制作しております。
私たちが生きる自然や大地の未来を考えるきっかけになればと思います。

From the perspective of walking a fascinating life with the nature that has been inhabited by Japanese people for a long time, I reconstructed the scenery in a vessel and created a work that allows you to feel the flow of time on the earth while observing the changes of the seasons.
I hope it will give us an opportunity to think about the future of nature and the earth in which we live.
